Techno-Futures: Disability, Design, and the Sci-Fi Influence
This project is an extension of my dissertation, titled "The Territory of Design, Disability, and the Future: How Sci-Fi Affect the Lives of Disabled People." It explores the intersection of technology, design, and disability, examining how science fiction influences our understanding of the future and its impact on individuals with disabilities. I created a documentary film to raise awareness about the evolving relationship between technology and the human body, particularly for those with disabilities. The film portrays disabled characters who use technology not only as a tool for empowerment but also as a means to navigate and overcome challenges in their daily lives—made by Adobe Premiere Pro.

Drawing inspiration from movies, animations, and TV series, I identified key concepts that define disability in these narratives. I then distilled these ideas into three clear and concise terms, making the complex subject more accessible and easier for the audience to understand.
